Razer BlackWidow V4 TKL HyperSpeed Wireless Hot Swappable Gaming Keyboard

I’d never had wireless keyboards or mice until recently. Wanting to get away from “wire spaghetti” on my desk made getting a set a logical choice. The first one I bought was from SABLUTE, yeah, I hadn’t heard of it either but it sounded good in the reviews. Within the first day I noticed that the keys were sticking. Within the first week I noticed that the paint on the clear keys for the backlighting was wearing through. I returned it to Amazon.THEN I bought this set. It was a little more pricey but at least it was a brand I could find a real webstore for! Once I received it I charged them completely before trying them out. There was no more sticking keys & so far there’s no sign of wear on the keys either. It is a full size keyboard. The mouse is full size as well. (I hate the mini-mice!) The buttons on both the mouse & KB are GREAT. I’m still getting used to adjusting my mouse speed & using the side buttons for going back & forth on my browser. Functionally, I can’t complain at all! The build quality is quite obviously superior to the other brand. I have to charge my mouse more than the I do the keyboard but the batteries on both seem pretty good, for the moment.The only downside is that if you use both mouse & KB controls be careful about the keyboard falling asleep. It can take five to ten seconds to reconnect so make sure you toggle keys frequently to keep it awake for if you’re going to be gaming with these.The key takeaway is that this KB is of higher quality than the competitor brands here on Amazon, at least compared to the other I tried & is worth the ten or so extra bucks.

Needed a major upgrade on my keyboard and mouse I’ve had for a couple years and was looking for something that is of good quality and also decently priced. I’ve had another keyboard from the same brand and loved the mechanical feel to it and how compact it was, hence my interest in purchasing another one from this same brand and a much fuller keyboard. My last RedDragon keyboard has lasted me since 2017 and just broke in 2024.When it arrived it was neatly packaged with a great presentation once you open it. It’s very lightweight and easy to install and connect well, just plug it in and you’re set! It does have different light settings for the keyboard, which you will be able to see in the manual. The keyboard I purchased were soft keys, although I wish I purchased the mechanical one – so be mindful on your preference of keys. The soft keys are very lightweight and easy to press, no issues. Keyboard quality is great for the price, and is perfect for my needs as I just need a keyboard that works and can handle simple gaming, not much expectations in terms of speed, performance, etc. Mouse is also great for the price, but don’t expect a high quality/pro mouse as there is a big difference when you feel it/use it. You can also adjust the mouse speed from the middle button as well. Overall you get a good deal with quality & affordability.10/10, great option to choose for beginners, those who are looking for affordable sets, looking for a spare/backup set, or interested in giving as a gift. I would choose purchasing this over the cheaper in-store options since there are more reliable reviews for this product and can also vouch via my experience.

comfortable stylish and very good battery life with quick recharging. No problems at all, using it with regular laptop and tablet.

Out of the box I liked the look and feel of the keyboard and the mouse is like warmed butter in your hand. I purchased these as a PC gamer struggling with controller proficiency in fast paced FPS games like BF6 (which is KnM compatible 🙂 ) Also for the fact that both keyboard and mouse connect with the same 2.4 MHz USB dongle essentially freeing the use of another valuable USB port. They were recognized and usable immediately to my surprise. I half expected to run into some firmware or connectivity issues like most other wireless devices we buy. The RGB lighting is great for people like myself that struggle to see in low light conditions and it also has many different colors and modes to choose from. The instructions are very clear cut, simple and straight forward. A huge plus for me is that I can switch seamlessly from the 2.4 MHz dongle on my PS5 and connect via Bluetooth to my laptop without having to physically switch the dongle. Both also can be connected via USB cable meaning they will work on anything and everything I can think of. Button depression is virtually silent and smooth, has good rebound with no chance of disrupting or annoying anyone in close proximity. Mouse side buttons are a must for gamers and these are even differentiated with one being embossed making them very distinguishable from one another for less mispresssed buttons during battle. So far the only complaint may not even be a complaint but I cannot figure out to turn off or change the RGB on the mouse. I would like to turn it off to conserve the battery life but the instructions do not include any information on this. Both items are light weight but still feel well put together. As a gamer I don’t have much use for the number pad on the side but it comes into play when I use it on my laptop. Overall, I am pleasantly pleased and would recommend. Also at the $50 price point for both items it’s very hard to beat IMO. (PS5 users: you will experience mouse lag on the menu screen but it returns to normal when in game.) Hope this helps someone decide.
